Last year at this time, we were on a cruise ship touring Alaska. It was an adventure!...something I always wanted to do. I know my dad would have loved to be there with us; maybe he did get a chance to see where we were. Anyway, it was one of the funnest things we have ever done. We went to celebrate our 30th Anniversary and we went with some great friends. We saw some spectacular scenery and enjoyed being pampered. So many things have changed since then...retirement, BYU high school for Jessica and of course losing my Dad. I have learned a great deal over the past year and I am learning to count my blessings and trust that things will work out.
The news is so depressing lately, but I really believe there are good things happening too. Life is good.

We want so badly to go to Alaska, hopefully one of these days.
You have quite a year, but I know that you have met all the challenges with grace & a positive heart.
